Am I beautiful?

That was the question I thought the mirror would answer.

So I moved towards the mirror to find an answer to my question.

Looking into the mirror I saw a very ugly fellow. See how ugly you are, the mirror echoed. Oh! My! 😥

I left the mirror with a sad look, knowing that I was ugly.

But then I heard a voice whispering, “You are the most beautiful Queen ever but you’ve got to look beyond what you see.”

So I turned to the mirror again, to confirm if this was true, though this time around, I need not wait for the mirror to speak. I spoke on its behalf.

Looking at my smiling face on the mirror deep through my soul, breathing in and out of my mind, I realized just how beautiful I was.

Now I can proudly say I am beautiful because it is no longer the mirror speaking.

You too dear! You are beautiful because it is not the mirror that determines your beauty. Rather, it is the beauty of the life in your soul, and the breath that comes from your mind and the goodness from your heart.

So look beyond what you see. And you will see that you are quite beautiful.
